About the artist:

Dutch artist Ronald Hunter specializes in abstract and modern paintings. Ronald Hunter’s paintings are not only known for their versatile colors, but also for the interesting textures. Ronald has a background in graphic design; you often find graphic elements and typography in his work.

De Nederlandse kunstenaar Ronald Hunter (1973) is gespecialiseerd in abstracte en moderne schilderijen. De schilderijen van Ronald Hunter staan bekend om hun veelzijdige kleuren en interessante texturen. Ronald heeft een achtergrond in grafisch ontwerp; je vindt hierdoor vaak grafische elementen en typografie terug in zijn werk.

Een aantal jaren geleden verruilde Ronald zijn commerciële carrière voor die van onafhankelijk kunstenaar. Sindsdien heeft hij zijn schilderijen verkocht aan kantoren, winkels en privé-woningen over de hele wereld. Tot nu toe in meer dan 50 landen!

Op 22 oktober is Ronald te zien bij het programma “Sterren op het doek” gepresenteerd door Özcan Akyol waar ze naast twee andere kunstenaars een portret maakt van een bekende Nederlander. Deze aflevering staat Caroline de Bruijn van GTST in de spotlight om geportretteerd te worden.
